Countdown to ArTfEsT

Can't believe i leave a wk from this coming mon! Had this week off so i've been working on trades (as well as things around the house that had to be done) The excitement is building~This is Dorm 225 where i have stayed everytime i've gone-love it there. Love the people, the area, the atmosphere. It's something you can't begin to describe to those who haven't been. It's magic. Can't wait to see old friends and meet new ones. 10 days and counting!

Catching Up

Last sat i went to the Cattle Barn in Ft Worth w/my friends April & Carol. We spent a few hrs perusing the booths and finding treasures. I came home with mostly bling-yea! just what i'd been hoping for.

REAL Texas Snow

ok, so here is the real thing-first we had the 'tease' on mon night then this afternoon got the real thing...the puppies loved it-their first snow.

OK-anyone up north reading this-don't laugh. We had 75 degree weather this wkend, then snow mon night. This snow. Today is clear and pleasant out, while snow is predicted again thurs night. They did get more out west of here, but hey, snow is snow.

Life In Joyland

Had intentions of putting photos up-but can't til gary shows me the "new" way. My dad called me sun and said my grandmother fell down the deck stairs sat. She hit her skull by her good eye. Bled of course and she couldn't see. bruised too-gramp took her to springfield to the hospital-they said it might be a skull fracture, but since she was a "walk-in" they wouldn't keep her for observation (something to do w/medicare in Missouri or something) what a crock of shit. He drove her back to their city, she's in their nursing home until MON when the Dr will actually be there. Still waiting to hear what is going on.
NOTE: heard that she can't see because she is bandaged up-dad left that part out. nursing home because she was still a bit out of it-better on mon-)
I'm going to get something to eat-now that the numbness has worn off from today's dental visit. (be glad i don't post pictures of that!) then it's time to work on ATC's for artfest~
